GAGG(Ce) (Cerium-doped Gadolinium Aluminum Gallium Garnet) Scintillator Crystal
GAGG(Ce) (Gd₃Al₂Ga₃O₁₂:Ce) is a next-generation inorganic scintillator crystal designed for high-efficiency gamma-ray detection. It combines very high light output, fast decay time, excellent energy resolution, and outstanding mechanical and chemical stability.
Compared with traditional scintillators such as NaI(Tl) and CsI(Tl), GAGG(Ce) offers significantly higher light yield, non-hygroscopic behavior, and improved durability, enabling compact detector designs without hermetic sealing.
GAGG(Ce) exhibits strong gamma-ray stopping power due to its high effective atomic number and density, while its emission peak around 520 nm is well matched to SiPMs and PMTs, making it ideal for modern solid-state radiation detectors.
We supply high-quality GAGG(Ce) single crystals with optical-grade polishing, tight dimensional control, and optional reflector or encapsulation options for research, medical imaging, and industrial radiation detection applications.
